About the role
This Auckland-based Sales Representative role is responsible for managing and growing a defined regional territory. You will work with an existing client base while identifying new business opportunities across multiple market segments, including high-profile customers. The role offers strong support, active sales opportunities and autonomy to drive results.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established Auckland sales territory
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
- Prospect and win new business across construction, civil, trade and hire markets
- Sell solutions across a wide construction equipment portfolio
- Manage deals from initial enquiry through to close
- Maintain accurate sales reporting and pipeline management
To succeed in the role, you will be/have
- Proven B2B sales experience (3+ years), ideally in construction, machinery, trade or hire
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues
- Commercially focused with strong time and territory management skills
- Equipment, trade or technical background (advantageous but not essential)
- Self-motivated, professional and results driven
