The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in pharma/biotech data analytics, with the ability to combine complex data sources, build impactful visualizations, and enable data-driven decisions that advance manufacturing excellence.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring both technical depth and strong communication skills. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders in MS&T and IT to deliver scalable analytics solutions that improve process understanding and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Integration & Engineering:
    • Aggregate and harmonize data from multiple sources including PI data historians, Snowflake, flat files, Statistica Enterprise, and other structured/unstructured data systems.
    • Build scalable, reliable pipelines to ensure data quality, accessibility, and consistency.
  • Visualization & Analytics:
    • Develop intuitive dashboards and interactive applications (Python Dash, JMP, MATLAB, TIBCO Spitfire/Statistica) to visualize manufacturing process data.
    • Translate complex datasets into actionable insights, supporting both small molecule and advanced therapies.
    • Deploy analytics solutions on cloud environments (AWS) to ensure accessibility and scalability.
  • Insight Generation & Decision Support:
    • Apply statistical and data science methods to identify process trends, correlations, and improvement opportunities.
    • Collaborate with MS&T subject matter experts to contextualize insights and recommend process improvements.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management:
    • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables with minimal oversight.
    • Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of analytics solutions with business needs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharma/biotech data analytics, preferably within MS&T, manufacturing, or process development.
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Programming & Visualization: Python (Dash), JMP, MATLAB
    • Data Platforms: Snowflake, PI Data Historian, TIBCO Statistica/Spitfire
    • Cloud Deployment: AWS-based web app development and deployment
  • Strong understanding of pharma/biotech manufacturing data and GMP-related systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with advanced therapies (cell & gene) as well as small molecule manufacturing analytics.
  • Familiarity with data engineering best practices, ETL pipelines, and API integrations.
  • Experience applying multivariate statistics, machine learning, Generative AI or advanced modeling in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of stakeholder collaboration across technical and business teams.
