Office Space Planning & CAD Technician

On behalf of my public sector client in Oranmore, Co Galway, I am recruiting for a temporary Facilities Administrator.

This is a 2 week temporary contract.

37.5 hours per week.

Duties:

• Review existing office floor plans to identify desk locations, workstations, departments, and current office layouts.
• Produce and develop accurate, detailed AutoCAD drawings of office floor plans, workstation layouts, desk locations, and furniture arrangements, reflecting the current “live” working environment.
• Ensure floor plans and office layout drawings are kept accurate, up to date, and aligned with changes to the workplace.
• Provide basic AutoCAD training to the Facilities Administrator, enabling them to confidently make routine updates and amendments to office floor plans.
• Develop a clear and practical AutoCAD training manual/guide covering the creation, updating, maintenance, and management of office layout drawings.
• Work closely with the Facilities team to ensure office layouts and drawings support ongoing workplace and space-planning requirements.

Requirements:

• AutoCAD certification or demonstrable professional experience using AutoCAD.

• Experience creating and updating floor plans, desk layouts, and furniture plans.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience working within corporate office environments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
