Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on a part-time short term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounts payable professional looking for flexibility while remaining part of a collaborative and supportive finance function. You'll take ownership of the AP process and play a key role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable activities and supporting the wider finance team as required. This role will suit someone who enjoys working autonomously, takes pride in accuracy, and has previous experience operating within a busy finance environment.
Working within a close-knit team, you will be responsible for ensuring invoices are processed efficiently, supplier relationships are maintained, and financial records remain accurate and up to date. Experience using MYOB is essential, as you will be working extensively within the system from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
- High-volume invoice processing, coding, and data entry
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Preparation and processing of supplier payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations and account maintenance
- Managing supplier queries and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate supplier records and master data within MYOB
- Assisting with month-end Accounts Payable reporting requirements
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure invoices are approved in a timely manner
- Supporting the wider finance team with general finance administration and ad hoc duties as required
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Officer position
- Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable experience
- Demonstrated experience using MYOB is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to assist where needed
- Available to work 2-3 days per week from the Brisbane CBD office
- Flexible part-time arrangement (2-3 days per week)
