Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical onboarding and deployment for enterprise clients.
- Collaborate closely with customer data, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.
- Analyze customer architectures, operational needs, and security constraints to develop tailored deployment strategies.
- Guide integration of trusted data layers for AI and analytics use cases.
- Configure and optimize data-processing, orchestration, security, identity, and governance technologies.
- Support Kubernetes-based deployments; troubleshoot infrastructure and configuration issues.
- Advise on AI-agent setup, security policies, governance, and best practices.
- Diagnose complex technical issues across data, application, infrastructure, and security ecosystems.
- Coordinate with internal teams for seamless implementation; document deployment patterns and decisions.
- Facilitate customers’ journey from proof of concept through full production adoption.
Required Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or systems integration within distributed environments.
- Proven track record implementing complex software platforms in customer settings.
- Proficiency with Apache Spark, Trino, Airflow, and similar data tools.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud/hybrid infrastructures.
- Deep knowledge of modern data architectures including data lakes, lakehouses, and curated data layers.
- Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, data, and security domains.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Skilled at translating customer requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
- Self-motivated and adaptable in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with security, governance, and identity tools such as Apache Ranger, Keycloak.
- Experience with data transformation and integration tools like dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte.
- Contributions to open-source AI or data infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of AI governance, policy management, and enterprise agent deployment.
- Understanding of data sovereignty, privacy, and regulatory compliance, especially within banking, insurance, or other regulated sectors.
- Background in professional services, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
- Experience supporting customers across the UK and European Union.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Several years of practical experience in data platform engineering or systems integration, preferably in enterprise environments.
Other Requirements:
- Location flexible, with a preference for candidates on the U.S. East Coast or in Europe.
- Availability to support customers across different time zones, primarily aligned with U.S. Eastern Time.
- Willingness to travel within Europe when necessary to support client deployments.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-evolving, high-growth setting.
