26079 AI Portfolio & Engagement Advisor

We are seeking an experienced AI Portfolio & Engagement Advisor to act as the key link between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams, driving the identification, prioritisation, governance and adoption of AI initiatives across a large enterprise environment.

This is a highly visible role suited to someone with a strong background in business engagement, digital transformation, portfolio management, business analysis, innovation, product management, or strategic program delivery.
About the Role As the primary point of engagement for AI opportunities, you will work with business leaders to identify challenges, facilitate discovery workshops, shape AI initiatives, develop business cases, and guide opportunities through governance and delivery pathways.

You will play a critical role in ensuring AI investments are aligned to strategic priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Business Engagement & Opportunity Discovery

• Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders across multiple divisions
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and ideation activities
• Identify and assess AI and Generative AI opportunities
• Provide guidance on AI capabilities, use cases and adoption pathways
• Promote awareness and understanding of AI across the organisation

Opportunity Assessment & Business Case Development

• Define business outcomes, benefits and success measures
• Assess opportunities for value, feasibility, risk and organisational readiness
• Develop business cases and investment recommendations
• Support prioritisation and funding decisions

Portfolio & Pipeline Management

• Maintain the AI opportunity pipeline and initiatives register
• Track initiative progress, benefits, dependencies and risks
• Support portfolio planning and prioritisation activities
• Provide visibility of current and emerging AI opportunities

Governance & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate engagement across architecture, security, privacy, legal and risk teams
• Support governance reviews and approval processes
• Ensure appropriate controls and compliance requirements are considered early
• Act as the central coordination point between business and delivery teams

Reporting & Executive Engagement

• Prepare portfolio dashboards and executive reporting
• Develop briefing papers and governance materials
• Present recommendations and insights to senior stakeholders
• Support evidence-based decision-making through analysis and reporting

Preferred Experience

• Experience identifying and shaping AI, Automation, Copilot or Generative AI opportunities
• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, privacy and risk considerations
• Experience facilitating workshops and discovery sessions
• Experience operating within complex enterprise or government environments
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable initiatives and delivery outcomes
