Our highly respected client is seeking for a Human Capital Executive with at least 2–4 years of HR experience. The role is based in Kuala Lumpur.
Job summary
The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the Human Capital function across Southeast Asia, acting as a reliable coordinator for HR processes and programs. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, and HR administration, while maintaining high levels of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The incumbent will work closely with the Human Capital Business Partner and Legal Counsel whilst serving as a first point of contact for HR-related matters across multiple regional offices.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for Human Capital queries, providing guidance based on company policies and procedures across multiple regional offices
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment processes, including CV screening, initial interviews, coordination with hiring managers, and liaison with external recruitment agencies
- Managing HR lifecycle administration, including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and maintenance of employee records
- Administering Human Capital programs such as employee engagement, performance reviews, learning & development, and benefits administration
- Preparing and coordinating HR documentation including employment contracts, variation letters, and verification documents in compliance with company standards
- Supporting work visa applications and renewals where applicable
- Collaborating with global support functions including Legal, Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure seamless HR operations
- Preparing monthly HR metrics and reports, including headcount, turnover, and other key performance indicators
- Assisting in drafting legal documentation such as employment and contractor agreements in coordination with Legal Counsel
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of HR processes
Key job requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in an HR or related function
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders across different regions
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, matrix environment
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and coordination skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism
- Experience in handling regional HR operations or exposure to legal documentation will be an added advantage
