Senior Fire Services Engineer

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Senior Fire Services Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of wet and dry fire protection systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will apply your technical expertise, leadership capability, and project management skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and coordinated design outcomes.

DUTIES.

• Lead the design and delivery of wet and dry fire services across a diverse portfolio of projects
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers
• Undertake quality assurance of fire services designs and documentation
• Manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring delivery against scope, timeframes, and budgets
• Conduct site inspections and prepare defect reports when required
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other key stakeholders to support successful project delivery

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Diploma in Fire Systems Design, or relevant qualification
• FPAS accreditation, or working towards (preferred)
• Demonstrated local experience delivering building services projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across multidisciplinary teams
