Senior Integration Engineer

Emanate Technology is partnered with a consultancy supporting a well-funded Federal Government modernisation program and is looking for a Senior Integration Developer to join the team.

This is a hands-on role working across the migration and modernisation of enterprise applications into Azure. You'll work closely with architects, cloud engineers, cyber security specialists, and delivery teams to design, build, and support modern applications, APIs, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing applications and help define migration and modernisation approaches.
• Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET.
• Refactor legacy systems to improve security, performance, and cloud readiness.
• Build and support APIs, integrations, web applications, and backend services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Support application deployments and migrations into Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and application issues.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Contribute to security uplift activities and reduction of technical debt.
• Produce technical documentation and support operational handover activities.

Key Skills and Experience

• Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET.
• Front-end development experience with Angular and/or React.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong SQL Server and database development experience.
• Experience delivering solutions using Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
• Good understanding of Azure services and cloud-native development practices.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Nice to Have

• Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, or container technologies.
• Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar IaC tooling.
• DevSecOps and secure development practices.
• Application migration and modernisation experience.
• Experience working within Government environments.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
