ServiceNow Platform Architect

Emanate Technology is partnered with a growing consultancy that is investing heavily in its ServiceNow capability and looking to appoint a ServiceNow Platform Architect.

This role is suited to an experienced ServiceNow professional who enjoys combining architecture, hands on delivery, stakeholder engagement, and solution design. You'll work closely with customers to help them move beyond traditional ITSM and unlock the broader capabilities of the ServiceNow platform across business and technology functions.

Working as a senior technical leader, you will own architectural direction across engagements while remaining close enough to delivery to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design

• Act as the technical authority across ServiceNow engagements.
• Define end-to-end solution architectures covering integrations, data models, CMDB, security, performance, and scalability.
• Ensure solutions align with customer architecture standards, ServiceNow best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Delivery Leadership

• Provide architectural oversight while remaining actively involved in delivery.
• Guide implementation teams and ensure solutions are achievable, maintainable, and fit for purpose.
• Identify and mitigate technical and security risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Customer Engagement

• Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and co-design workshops.
• Translate business challenges into practical platform solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

Pre-Sales & Practice Growth

• Contribute to solution design, estimates, proposals, and customer presentations.
• Support the growth of the ServiceNow practice through mentoring, reusable assets, and architectural standards.
• Help develop consultants and promote a culture of technical excellence.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in a ServiceNow Architect, Lead Consultant, or Technical Lead position.
• Ability to balance strategic architecture with hands-on delivery.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, integrations, security, data modelling, and workflow design.
• Experience leading customer workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Consulting experience and the ability to shape solutions around customer outcomes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Desirable

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification.
• Experience with the NowCreate methodology.
• Experience across Customer Service Management (CSM), Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS), Core Business Suite (CBS), or Workflow Data Fabric (WDF).
• Exposure to government or other highly regulated environments.
