Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an organised and proactive Events Specialist to join a highly regarded organisation on a full-time, 5-month contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.
Based in Melbourne, this opportunity offers a varied and rewarding portfolio of events, giving you ownership from planning and coordination through to successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage events end-to-end, including planning, logistics, registrations, venues and supplier coordination.
- Coordinate onsite event delivery across a range of internal and external venues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and event partners.
- Support donor-focused events, stakeholder meetings and site tours.
- Ensure a seamless and high-quality experience for attendees and guests.
- Assist with the delivery of upcoming events including cocktail functions, lunches and networking events.
- Previous experience coordinating or managing events from concept through to delivery.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality events.
- Experience within the not-for-profit, healthcare or donor engagement sectors will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Full-time 5-month contract opportunity.
