Currently, we are partnering with a leading company in the mission-critical sector to recruit a Data Center Commissioning Site Lead for hyperscale data center projects based in Northern Virginia, USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead onsite commissioning teams throughout all phases of hyperscale data center projects.
• Manage the commissioning programme, ensuring activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between the client, project management, vendors, consultants, and commissioning teams.
• Lead commissioning meetings, coordinate project stakeholders, and provide regular progress updates.
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), commissioning documentation, and final project handover.
• Identify and resolve commissioning issues while ensuring compliance with project specifications, Uptime Institute Tier III and Tier IV standards, and safety requirements.
• Mentor and support commissioning engineers and technicians, promoting best practices and a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading commissioning activities on enterprise or hyperscale data center projects.
• Extensive knowledge of mission-critical infrastructure and commissioning processes.
• Strong understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS) integration and controls.
• Thorough knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier III and Tier IV standards.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and client-facing communication skills.
• Must be authorised to work in the United States.
