A community-focused healthcare team in west central Wisconsin is seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to provide care in a rural emergency department.



Position Highlights:

  • Provide emergency care in a rural Critical Access Hospital
  • Flexible full-time coverage ranging from 6–24 shifts per month
  • Backed by regional resources including a Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center and STEMI/PCI program
  • Coordination and support for ground and air medical transport
  • Collaborate with an experienced healthcare network to deliver timely, high-quality emergency care
  • Participate in medical education, teaching and research through an academic partnership with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
  • Help meet the emergency care needs of a close-knit rural community

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of accredited graduate medical training
  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the region
  • Strong commitment to clinical quality, collaboration and patient-centered care
  • Interest in medical education and academic engagement
