About the Company
Our client is a globally recognized sourcing and supply chain management company with a strong international presence and operations across Asia, Europe, and North America. With a large-scale multinational footprint and a collaborative working culture, they are seeking an Accountant to join their Hong Kong finance team.
About the Role
Reporting to the finance team, you will support financial reporting activities across Hong Kong and regional markets. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals who would like to gain exposure to financial reporting, audit, tax, and business partnering within a multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, monthly financial statements, and support month-end closing activities.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and provide financial analysis and insights for management reporting.
- Assist in annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to support tax compliance and filing requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on claims, disputes, and other finance-related matters.
- Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and accounting projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in audit, financial reporting, or commercial accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; Dynamics AX knowledge is a plus.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
