Programmer / Project Planner | Developer-Builder

Sydney | $150k + Super | Residential Developments

An established Sydney developer-builder is looking to appoint an experienced Programmer / Project Planner to work across a growing portfolio of residential developments.

This is not purely a site-based programming role. You’ll work across multiple projects and the full project lifecycle, from early development and pre-construction through to construction, completion and handover.

The Role

• Develop and maintain master project programmes across multiple projects

• Programme across development, design, approvals, procurement and construction

• Work closely with Development Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers, consultants and subcontractors

• Coordinate project teams to obtain the information required to maintain accurate programmes

• Monitor critical path, sequencing, milestones and programme risk

• Identify potential delays and work with project teams on mitigation strategies

• Provide programme updates and reporting to senior management

• Support projects from early planning through to delivery and completion

About You

• Demonstrated experience as a Programmer, Project Planner, Construction Planner or Planning Engineer

• Background with a head contractor or developer-builder

• Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing

• Residential, mixed-use or major building project experience preferred

• Strong Primavera P6 and/or MS Project capability

• Able to build and interrogate programmes – not simply update them

• Confident working with multiple stakeholders and challenging project teams for information

• Able to operate across multiple projects simultaneously
