People Partner (Aus & NZ)

We're partnering with a large, operationally focused organisation to appoint an experienced People Partner. Supporting leaders across Australia and New Zealand, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with operational stakeholders, provide expert employee relations advice, and help build high-performing teams across a geographically dispersed workforce.

The Opportunity This is a true business partnering role where you'll work alongside operational leaders to deliver practical people solutions, strengthen leadership capability and support workforce planning, organisational change and business improvement initiatives. You'll be a trusted advisor who can balance commercial outcomes with employee considerations while navigating complex and fast-paced operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across multiple sites to deliver consistent people outcomes. 
• Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations. 
• Coach and develop leaders to confidently manage people matters and build team capability.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning and organisational effectiveness initiatives. 
• Analyse workforce trends and provide practical recommendations to improve performance and retention.
• Support organisational change, restructures and continuous improvement projects.
• Partner closely with stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand to ensure consistent people practices.

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Proven experience in a HR Business Partner, People Partner or Senior HR Generalist role. 
• Strong multi-site experience supporting geographically dispersed workforces. 
• Previous experience supporting a New Zealand workforce and understanding NZ employment relations practices.
• Experience working within blue-collar, trade, manufacturing, transport, logistics, automotive or operational environments. 
• Demonstrated capability managing complex employee relations and workplace investigations. 
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership coaching skills. 
• Commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical, risk-based advice.
• A current driver's licence and a willingness to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand.
