The Case Packer is responsible for packaging finished products into cases or cartons according to company standards. This role ensures products are packed accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity requirements in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack finished products into boxes, cartons, or cases according to specifications.
- Inspect products for quality defects before packaging.
- Label, seal, and prepare cases for shipment or palletizing.
- Maintain production line speed and meet daily production goals.
- Verify product counts and packaging configurations.
- Remove damaged or defective products from the production line.
- Keep work areas clean and organized following safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate basic packaging equipment and machinery as trained.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Assist with line changeovers, cleanup, and other production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying product quantities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions depending on the facility.
