This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in optimising raw material supply and production planning across multiple European manufacturing operations.
Working at the heart of the supply chain function, you will influence strategic planning decisions, balancing raw material availability, production capacity and customer demand to maximize operational performance.
Alongside planning activities, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain processes and planning systems, helping to drive greater efficiency across the wider business.
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planning Manager:
- Develop and maintain raw material supply plans across multiple European manufacturing sites
- Balance production requirements, raw material availability and customer demand to optimise operational performance
- Coordinate production planning activities with commercial, operations and supply chain stakeholders
- Support inventory and delivery planning to ensure continuity of supply
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and supply chain performance
- Contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of advanced planning systems and tools
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support operational and commercial decision-making
Candidate Profile:
We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning professional with a background in manufacturing or industrial operations.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within heavy manufacturing, metals, mining, chemicals or process industries
- Strong knowledge of production planning, raw material planning or supply chain optimisation
- Experience using advanced planning systems or supply chain planning software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Fluent English communication skills
