Maintenance Electrician

Our client, a well-established food manufacturing company based in South Tipperary, is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or maintenance professional looking for a stable, long-term role with ongoing training and development.

What you will be doing:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Responding to breakdowns and fault finding to minimise downtime.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Supporting preventative maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
• Assisting with equipment upgrades and installations.
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers when required.
• Completing maintenance records and required documentation.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

What we are looking for:

• Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical trade qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance or electrical role.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant experience from any industry will be considered.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong initiative and attention to detail.
• Basic IT skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating Days and Evenings.
