We're recruiting a Finance Administrator to join a busy finance team based in Ballybane, Galway.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3+ years' finance administration or accounts experience who enjoys a varied role supporting the day-to-day finance function.
Hours:
📍 Ballybane, Galway (Office Based)
🕣 Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 4:30pm
💰 €17.00–€19.00 per hour (€35,360–€39,520), depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit control, debtor management and payment follow-up
- Raising sales invoices and credit notes
- Processing supplier invoices and maintaining purchase records
- Bank reconciliations
- Managing customer account queries and the accounts inbox
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting bookkeeping activities
- Processing payroll information for the external payroll provider
- Reviewing Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and supporting sales reporting
- Supporting the Financial Controller with day-to-day finance administration
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Strong experience in sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
- Good understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and bank reconciliations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Xero is essential; knowledge of Hubdoc, Unify or iStockist would be an advantage
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
