THE OPPORTUNITY
You'll take ownership of production planning and scheduling, ensuring the right people, resources, space and materials are available to meet project requirements.
You'll also contribute to tender planning, cost forecasting, production benchmarking and continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage production schedules across multiple projects.
- Forecast labour, subcontractor, floor-space and production requirements.
- Manage capacity planning and yard utilisation.
- Create yard maps and floor delivery sequences.
- Model production scenarios, including shifts and weekend work.
- Monitor progress, identify scheduling risks and implement solutions.
- Prepare production schedules for tenders and project bids.
- Align schedules with project budgets, costs and delivery timelines.
- Establish production baselines and identify opportunities to improve throughput.
- Develop and improve planning systems, processes and reporting.
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Construction, Design and Project teams.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 2–3+ years' experience in planning or scheduling, ideally within manufacturing, construction or modular construction.
- Strong production planning, scheduling and forecasting experience.
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows and capacity planning.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with MS Project and ERP/MES systems.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
