Description: **Shipping & Receiving – Heavy Lifting**

Responsible for loading and unloading trucks, receiving and organizing shipments, preparing orders, and moving heavy materials throughout the warehouse. Must be comfortable with frequent heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working in a fast-paced environment. Warehouse experience preferred.
SHIPPING & RECEIVING – HEAVY LIFTING

We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, moving materials throughout the warehouse, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks. This is a physically demanding position that requires frequent heavy lifting and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and unload incoming shipments and materials.

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles.

• Verify incoming products against packing lists and shipping documents.

• Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies to management.

• Prepare products and orders for shipment.

• Pick, pack, label, and organize outgoing orders.

• Move boxes, pallets, materials, and products throughout the warehouse.

• Stack and organize products in designated areas.

• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.

• Assist with inventory counts and product organization.

• Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean and organized.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

• Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to ensure shipments are handled efficiently.

• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred.

• Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes, materials, and products safely.

• Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting for extended periods.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must follow all safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires frequent heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Employees may be required to lift heavy boxes and materials repeatedly throughout the workday. The position also requires extended periods of standing and walking, as well as frequent bending, reaching, and moving materials throughout the warehouse.
