Role Overview
This is not your typical coordination role. As Business Precincts Coordinator, you will play a key role in bringing Unley’s vibrant business precincts to life through activation, engagement and street beautification initiatives that create meaningful local impact.
Working closely with traders, business owners, community partners and internal stakeholders, you will help shape experiences, events and initiatives that strengthen precinct identity, support local business and create connected, thriving places for people to live, work, invest, do business and visit.
No two days will look the same. One day you may be engaging with traders on precinct priorities, the next coordinating an activation campaign, community initiative or local event that drives energy and connection across the street.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate activation initiatives, campaigns and precinct events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with traders and business groups
- Support precinct governance, meetings and action plans
- Assist with business engagement and community initiatives
- Coordinate suppliers, contractors and external stakeholders
- Support marketing and promotional activities across precincts
- Contribute to precinct planning and activation strategies
- Prepare reports, agendas and stakeholder communications
- Experience in community engagement, activation, events or precinct coordination
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Experience coordinating events, campaigns or community initiatives
- Highly organised with strong written communication skills
- Experience within local government, tourism, economic development or activation highly regarded
