Medical Service Division Head

Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading private hospital group in Indonesia. Our respected client is seeking experienced healthcare professionals for the position of Medical Services Division Head.
 

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the hospital’s Medical Services function, covering specialist physician management and medical service delivery across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with specialist physicians, ensuring effective engagement, communication, and alignment with hospital objectives.
• Monitor and improve the performance, utilization, and quality of medical services across the hospital.
• Work closely with hospital leadership, nursing, ancillary services, and other functions to ensure integrated and patient-centered service delivery.
• Support the development and growth of key clinical services and Centers of Excellence, including Orthopedics.
• Ensure medical services comply with applicable clinical governance, patient safety, quality, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, operational efficiency, patient experience, and physician performance.
• Support hospital initiatives to effectively serve a mixed BPJS and private/non-BPJS patient population.

Job Requirements

• Medical degree (Doctor / dr.) with relevant experience in hospital management or medical services.
• Proven experience in Medical Services, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, or a comparable hospital leadership function.
• Experience within a Type C general hospital or above is required; candidates should ideally come from a general hospital rather than a single-specialty hospital.
• Strong experience in managing and engaging specialist physicians and coordinating multidisciplinary clinical stakeholders.
• Good understanding of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and broader hospital medical services.
• Exposure to hospitals serving both BPJS and private/non-BPJS patients is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to engage senior specialist physicians.
• Hands-on, collaborative, and service-oriented leadership style.
