About the Role

Reporting to the management team, you will play a key role in delivering accounting and assurance engagements for a diverse client base. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of industries while mentoring junior staff and developing the technical and leadership skills needed for future career advancement.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and review financial statements, working papers, and tax returns
  • Lead engagements from planning through completion with minimal supervision
  • Mentor and support junior team members on client files
  • Communicate directly with clients to resolve accounting and reporting matters
  • Assist managers with engagement planning, budgeting, and workflow management
  • Research and resolve technical accounting and tax issues
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and quality initiatives

What You'll Bring

  • CPA designation or enrollment in the CPA program
  • 3–5+ years of public accounting experience
  • Experience preparing financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns, and assurance engagements
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience working with private company clients is considered an asset
