Apply directMy client is seeking an Enterprise Architect with a strong background in enterprise technology strategy, application modernisation, and digital transformation.
You will be responsible for shaping enterprise technology strategy and ensuring technology investments support long-term business objectives. Working across multiple business domains, you'll develop target-state architectures, architecture roadmaps, governance frameworks, and technology standards while supporting application modernisation and cloud transformation initiatives.
You'll collaborate with business executives, engineering teams, solution architects, and delivery teams to evaluate technology options, guide architectural decisions, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Must have:
- Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect or Lead Enterprise Architect within large enterprise environments.
- Strong experience defining enterprise architecture strategy, target-state architecture, technology roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
- Experience leading application modernisation, cloud transformation, platform rationalisation, and enterprise integration initiatives.
- Strong understanding of modern engineering environments, including cloud-native architecture, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and DevSecOps.
- Experience partnering with executive stakeholders (CIOs, business leaders, engineering teams) to align technology strategy with business outcomes.
- Experience establishing architecture principles, standards, reference models, and participating in Architecture Review Boards (ARB).
- Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience working across banking, insurance, financial services, government, or consulting environments.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
- Experience with AI-enabled transformation, enterprise data strategy, or platform engineering.
- Exposure to Node.js and TypeScript engineering environments (not necessarily hands-on development, but understanding modern application architecture).
