Project Engineer

Design & Build is recruiting an experienced and motivated Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join our client’s team on a new build project in Brisbane. This project has an established and supportive team ready to work with you.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, design, coordination, and execution of all aspects of the project.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the project management team.
• Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Managing and coordinating all engineering activities, including design, construction, and quality assurance.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Conducting regular site walk throughs to monitor progress, identify any potential issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Working with other Engineers to ensure the successful completion of the project.
• Liaising with client, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain effective communication and resolve any project-related challenges.

What’s Required

• MUST have commercial construction experience
• Proven experience in design, structures, ITPs, and reporting. 
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
