Tax Specialist (Dutch-speaking)

EMEA Recruitment is working with an international organization in their search for a Tax Specialist to join their growing tax team near Amsterdam.

This Tax Specialist role focuses on ensuring compliance with tax and accounting requirements, meeting local and international regulations, and supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.

This is a Dutch-speaking position, so fluent Dutch is required.

Responsibilities of the Tax Specialist:

• Provide support across interim and year-end tax provisioning and reporting activities
• Produce local tax computations and complete statutory tax filings in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and process tax payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
• Support indirect tax compliance, including VAT submissions and related European reporting obligations
• Assist with transfer pricing compliance through data gathering, review, and intercompany charge analysis
• Carry out tax analysis and provide broader support to the tax function as needed

Experience & qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fiscal Economics, Fiscal Law, or related subject
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Fluent in Dutch and English languages (non-negotiable)
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, detail-focused, and results-driven approach
• High level of IT proficiency, particularly in standard office applications, with exposure to tax-specific systems considered an advantage (Unit4 and Exact)
