A well-established organisation within the education sector is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their collaborative finance team in Osborne Park. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing transactional finance with month-end accounting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day transactional finance activities across AR/AP functions
- Assist with month-end close processes
- Prepare reconciliations, journals, and management reporting support
- Support financial processing and data accuracy across the finance function
- Maintain accurate records within ERP systems
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and the wider finance team
About You
- 2–3+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance support role
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial reporting
- Experience assisting with month-end and management accounts
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Business Central
- Exposure to MYOB highly regarded
- Education industry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, team-focused approach
