Payroll & Accounts Payable Senior

📍 West Perth | 💰 $110,000 - $120,000 + Super | Full-Time | Fully Office-Based

A growing mining services business is seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounts Payable Senior to join their finance team during an exciting period of expansion.

Reporting into the Financial Controller and working closely with both the Financial Controller and CFO, this position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the continued growth and success of the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and wants to be part of a business where their contribution will have a genuine impact.

The Opportunity

  • Manage payroll processing and associated payroll activities
  • Oversee accounts payable functions and ensure timely supplier payments
  • Support month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting requirements
  • Work closely with senior finance leadership to improve systems and processes
  • Assist with finance-related projects as the business continues to grow
  • Utilise Xero as the primary accounting and payroll system

About You

  • Previous experience across payroll and accounts payable functions
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and accounts payable processes
  • Experience using Xero will be highly regarded
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience within mining, drilling, civil, construction, transport, or resources industries will be highly regarded but is not essential
