About Our Client:
CoreStaff are currently seeking Recycling Sorters for our client’s Waste Recycling Facility situated in the southern suburbs of Bibra Lake.
You’ll be working within this busy facility and must be available to work Monday to Friday up to twelve hours a day during busy periods.

About the Role:
We are seeking a Recycling QC Sorter Auditor to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is detail-focused, task-oriented and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit recycling materials and complete two scheduled product audits per shift.
• Manually segregate materials with outstanding attention to detail.
• Perform repetitive manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving bins ranging from 1–25 kg and 120L–1100L in size.
• Stand in one position for extended periods while completing audits.
• Work independently within a designated workplace/shed at the rear of the site.
• Collect and record data accurately using industrial scales and calculators.
• Use a bin lifter to assist with material handling.
• Follow all relevant processes, procedures, legislation and regulations, and maintain a willingness to learn and stay up to date.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and correctly use all required PPE.
• Provide clear and accurate verbal and written communication.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Remain task-focused and consistently achieve required results within specified timeframes.

About You
The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Good organisational and housekeeping skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive, practical approach to following processes and procedures.
• The ability to work safely and correctly use PPE.
• Good basic numeracy skills and confidence using a calculator and recording data.
• A strong commitment to achieving quality results within required timeframes.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• A willingness to learn and keep up to date with relevant requirements.

Pre-employment requirements:
Applicants must be able to successfully complete a Drug and Alcohol screening, provide a National Police Certificate issued within the past six months, and be willing to undertake Hepatitis A and B immunisation where they are not already immune, subject to applicable workplace requirements and relevant legislation.
