Project Manager: Water Treatment & Critical Environments

Location: South West Dublin location

THE ROLE:

Are you a lab-based chemistry professional who enjoys the technical side of your work but is ready for something more varied? This is a rare opportunity to step out of the lab and into a dynamic, site-based role where your chemistry knowledge is just as valued — but your day looks completely different.

This is a site-based coordination and account management position embedded within a major data centre account in Greater Dublin, five days per week. There is no cold calling, no sales targets and no lab bench. Instead, you will be managing scope of work, coordinating permits, overseeing third-party contractors, supporting planned maintenance programmes and ensuring compliance activity is delivered on time and to standard. You will be the main point of contact for site engineering teams, with responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a high-value service contract.

Their specialist division focuses on critical environment services across closed-water systems, cooling towers and complex, business-critical infrastructure. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and service delivery, this is a well-established business that invests in the people who represent them on the ground.


THE PERSON:

We are looking for candidates with a chemistry degree and practical chemistry experience — whether from a water treatment, analytical, industrial or process chemistry background — who are ready to make a move into project coordination and technical account management.

You should be organised, mature and professionally credible, comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment and confident engaging with engineering and technical stakeholders on site. No sales experience is required — your technical background and ability to build trusted working relationships is what matters here.

Candidates should be based close to the Greater Dublin site to facilitate the five-day on-site requirement.


THE PACKAGE:

  • Base Salary: €50,000 – €70,000 (DOE)
