An established Agri business in the Kildare / Laois area is looking to recruit a Yard Operative. This is a full-time permanent role.

Reporting to a member of management you will be responsible for managing a busy yard and delegating work to other staff members. Please note that this role will involve Saturday work.

Job Location - South Kildare ( Also suit applicants Living in East Laois )

Duties to include

  • Monitoring goods in / goods out.
  • Organising deliveries.
  • Stock control.
  • Work closely with logistics / drivers.
  • Coordinate the storage of products
  • Always maintain safe and clean yard.
  • Assign daily tasks to other yard workers.
  • Direct truck and tractor loads.

Candidate profile

  • The ability to supervise staff members.
  • Previous experience in an operative role.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Strong communication skills.

Remuneration

Attractive hourly rate based on experience to date

Occasional over-time
