Facilities Manager

Working with our client, a well established Irish company, we are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager. This is a very exciting opportunity to join an expanding business group, which is operating in forecourt retail and motor industries.

You will be energetic and driven, with a minimum of 5 years Facilities Management experience. You will have project management and people management experience and perhaps you have been working in a 24 hour fast paced hospitality or retail environment.

This is a senior management role within the company and involves management responsibilities for facilities team members. Please note this is a well established team with over 20 years experience between them.

You will be responsible for the planning, costing, implementation and delivery of a number of projects, as well as the day-to-day facilities management and preventative maintenance on existing facilities.

Multi-site experience is an absolute requirement.

Key areas of responsibilities will include the following

• Full responsibility for facilities asset management and maintenance
• Liaising with contractors and local authorities
• Statutory compliance of site services
• Ensuring sites are secure and legally compliant
• Responsible for a call-out system for emergencies, security and alarm-related call-outs
• To manage standards and introduce innovation as required in line with best practice and business and legal requirements
