Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Test Engineering Technician to join a dynamic team in San Jose, CA. In this hands-on role, you will perform critical testing, debugging, and validation of electronic assemblies in a fast-paced lab environment. Your expertise will directly contribute to ensuring the highest standards of product performance, reliability, and quality.

Required Skills:

• Strong soldering skills, including fine-pitch rework
• Experience with cable harnessing and wiring
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies, and signal generators
• Hands-on testing, debugging, and documentation of electronic components and assemblies
• Collaborate effectively with design and quality engineers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working with complex electronic systems and complex troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with automated test equipment or scripting for test automation
• Experience with hardware validation and verification processes

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in electronic testing or engineering support
• Associates degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred

Other Requirements:

• Onsite presence in San Jose, CA
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to electronic hazards
• No travel required; this is an onsite role
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship provided
