Position Summary
Our client, a Fortune 500 investor-owned utility and renewable energy developer, is seeking a Digital Innovations Manager to join their team on a six-month contract basis.
The Digital Innovations Manager will own a portfolio of digital products and solutions end to end, from discovery through development, implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement. This person will set product vision and roadmap, work daily alongside software developers and IT to ship scalable solutions, and translate stakeholder needs into requirements that measurably move the business forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of assigned products and solutions from initial discovery through development, implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement
- Leverage technical, commercial, and financial expertise to support and guide the broader team towards overall project, business unit, and/or corporate targets
- Formulate and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and user needs
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and stakeholder expectations
- Collaborate closely with software developers, IT, and other teams to drive product initiatives and deliver scalable, best-in-class solutions
- Engage with internal customers and stakeholders to understand their needs, define requirements, gather feedback, and ensure the products deliver measurable value
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure product success and drive continuous improvement
- Conduct business-process analysis and technology assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks related to product development
- Provide regular updates to leaders and stakeholders on product progress, key achievements, and strategic direction
- Support the larger ECSC team with process, tool, and training initiatives
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Product management, product ownership, business analysis, or project management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Experience in construction, energy industry, and/or supply chain preferred
- Experience in product management, product ownership, digital transformation, analytics, automation, or enterprise technology preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong financial and data analysis skillset
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
