Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Officers
Western Sydney | Full-time | Construction / Engineering

I’m currently recruiting for a well-established and growing business within the construction and electrical services sector, with two separate opportunities available within their Finance team - Accounts Payable position and Accounts Receivable positions.

Both roles offer the opportunity to join a supportive finance team and work within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Accounts Payable Officer 
  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Preparing and processing payment runs
  • Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships
  • Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations
  • Liaising with project teams and internal stakeholders
Accounts Receivable Officer
  • Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable function
  • Raising invoices and allocating customer payments
  • Maintaining accurate customer accounts and completing reconciliations
  • Following up outstanding invoices and managing aged debtors
  • Responding to customer queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
  • Supporting cash-flow objectives across the business
About You:
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good Excel and accounting systems experience
  • A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach
  • Construction, engineering or project-based experience required
