About the Role
This is an enterprise-level opportunity to take ownership of the governance, optimisation and continuous evolution of a major Salesforce Education Cloud platform. You will provide authoritative technical leadership across platform configuration, security, release management, performance and data integrity, working closely with the Program Architect, DevOps Architect, Business Analysts and senior stakeholders. You will translate complex organisational requirements into sustainable, enterprise-grade platform solutions, and play a leading role in shaping how the platform supports the organisation's strategic objectives.
Duties
- Provide strategic leadership for the governance, optimisation and continuous improvement of the Salesforce Education Cloud platform, ensuring it remains secure, resilient and scalable.
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise platform governance, including security, access management, licensing, data integrity and audit readiness.
- Provide authoritative technical leadership and expert advice on complex Salesforce platform capabilities, solution design and configuration strategy.
- Establish and oversee platform release, environment and DevOps governance, ensuring changes are effectively planned, quality assured and implemented to enterprise standards.
- Foster productive partnerships with the Program Architect, DevOps Architect, Business Analysts, technical delivery teams, vendors and senior stakeholders to resolve complex issues and shape strategic direction.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce CRM experience in a system administration or closely related capacity.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, current and valid at commencement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets and Salesforce licence structures in a production environment.
- Experience delivering declarative Salesforce configuration, including Flows, Assignment Rules, Approval Processes, Permission Sets, page layouts and Lightning pages.
- Demonstrated familiarity with DevOps and release management practices within a Salesforce context, including sandbox management.
