The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for managing an existing pipeline of quotations, proactively engaging with customers and converting opportunities into confirmed sales.
Working closely with internal engineering and technical teams, you'll gain an understanding of each project's technical requirements before confidently communicating with customers, addressing questions and progressing opportunities through to completion.
- Managing an existing database of outstanding quotations and sales opportunities
- Contacting customers via phone and email to progress and convert quotations into confirmed works
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Strata Managers and commercial customers
- Collaborating with internal technical, engineering and operations teams to understand project scope and technical requirements
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Following up enquiries in a timely and professional manner while maintaining accurate CRM records
- Identifying opportunities to maximise sales outcomes and improve customer engagement
- Working collaboratively across the business to ensure a seamless customer experience from quotation through to project delivery
About You
We're looking for a motivated, relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys speaking with customers, building trust and driving results.
- Previous experience in sales, account management or business development
- A technical or trade-related sales background will be highly regarded
- Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- A proactive approach with the ability to follow up and close sales opportunities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across phone and email
- Experience working collaboratively with technical or operational teams is highly desirable
