Direct Hire: 3rd Shift Process Technician

Job Position: Direct Hire:Process Technician

Location: GARLAND, TX 75041

Pay Rate: $28.00/hr

3rd Shift 10:45pm-7:05am Mon-Fri (Occasional Saturday)

Description:

Manufacturing support position with responsibilities focused upon optimizing and maintaining production processes

and product scrap reduction.

Perform first piece start up process verification activities.

Make sure Process Monitoring is completed when a mold change, material change, or insert change

i.s done.

Perform process monitoring checks. If out of tolerance, create a Temp CR.

Respond to calls from operators regarding product/process questions and/or concerns.

Complete assigned area of First Piece Approval.

Verify end of arm tooling for robots, as needed, and initiates robot program or proper cam settings.

Perform BOM verifications and Part Weight & Cycle verifications, as needed.

Participate in internal problem solving and improvement activities.

Identify needed machine and tool repairs and initiate appropriate work order(s).

Set up decorating equipment per Master Process Control Sheet, as needed.

Attend shift passdown meetings and provide ample information in passdown emails.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Maintain a high level of communication with your Die Setters and Supervisors.

High school diploma or general education degree; or 3 months related experience and/or training.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Perform basic math functions - additions, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, proportions.

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating instructions, and system docs.

Ability to actively participate in problem solving activities.

Ability to support overtime during the week or weekends.
