Payroll Officer - Part time | Contract

We're seeking a Payroll Officer to join a busy and collaborative team on a part-time basis (4 days per week) - starting immediately. This is an initial 8 week temporary contract with potential to extend or go longer term for the right person.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven end-to-end payroll experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to further develop their skills within Payroll. 

The Role

Reporting into an experienced payroll leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end payroll processing
• Interpreting awards, agreements and payroll legislation
• Managing payroll queries and stakeholder relationships
• Maintaining employee records and payroll data
• Payroll reconciliations and reporting
• Supporting payroll projects and process improvements
• Dealing with multiple payroll cycles (weekly, fortnightly and/or monthly)

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

• Experience with end-to-end payroll management in a 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• A proactive and adaptable approach to work
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience working in a complex payroll environment with multiple awards
