Deploy are currently seeking an experienced works manager to support delivery of key mechanical, electrical, telecoms and fire system refurbishment and installation works at Birmingham new street.
The project aims to improve the station's infrastructure, safety, and functionality. The project is focused on enhancing the station's reliability and function as a major transportation hub.
This role will be based on nights, and will involve managing a team of supervisors in ensuring that project deliverables are met.
This is contract role and is for a minimum 6 months with a possible extension if the works go well.
The successful candidate should ideally have experience in delivering M&E projects within a rail environment, dealing with multiple stakeholders and end clients, in this case Network Rail.
You should be a good communicator and able to manage people effectively. This role would suit an individual that has a background in Works Delivery, but could also come from a background such as Construction Management, Project Management or similar.
This work is at night and the rate shown is based on individual experience.
You must hold a valid PTS as well as a valid SSSTS/SMSTS as a minimum.
