The role in a nutshell 🚀

You’ll run point on the client experience, keep workflow humming, and make sure the details (including invoicing and follow-ups) are nailed, so the team can focus on advice. It’s a high-trust role with real ownership and plenty of client contact.

Full-time | Flex and Hybrid Options

Starting Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 + super (or negotiable depending on experience)

You know the moment when a Manager is mid-client meeting, three things need following up, an invoice is waiting, and a client is chasing an update. You step in, sort it, close the loop, and everyone's happy.

That’s the job.

This is a newly created role to help drive the practice forward. It’s not an accounting role. It’s a workflow management role. You’re the person making sure the t’s are crossed and the i’s are dotted, especially around client comms and invoicing.

If you’re the kind of person who loves being the organised one, the follow-up person, the “leave it with me, I’ve got this” person, you’ll feel right at home.

What you’ll be responsible for 👇

Owning the workflow for client jobs so nothing gets missed and follow-ups actually happen

Managing invoicing end-to-end, including getting the right info from the team, issuing invoices, and keeping things tidy

Taking the admin load off our Managers, so they stay focused on high-value work

Being a calm, capable first point of contact for clients by phone and email

Keeping client records, documentation, and internal checklists up to date

Coordinating workflow support across the team (deadlines, next steps, “who’s got this?” clarity)

Spotting issues early and fixing them before they become a drama

Improving small systems and processes so the workload gets lighter over time

Nothing slips through the cracks because you’re on it

Under your watch, everyone is following systems and processes all the time

You are... 🔎

Warm, very personable, organised, and you follow through. You don’t need to be an accountant, but you do need to be confident working in a professional services environment and dealing with small business clients.

You’ll likely have:

3+ years experience in a similar client-facing role (e.g. admin, accounts, client service)

Best-practice customer service and communication skills (phone and email)

Experience with invoicing and account admin

Nice to have:

Xero, MYOB, or practice management software experience (XPM, Karbon, APS, HandiSoft, FYI, etc.)

Light bookkeeping knowledge
