Warehouse Associate

Nesco Resource is looking for a Warehouse Assistant in Danbury, CT. Position will be working with the shipping department. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate. Schedule is: Monday- Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. OT required as needed. Pay depends on previous experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist and support all shipping functions.
• Package products neatly and process orders based on customer needs.
• Generate packing slips and shipping labels.
• Verify the shipments and ensure that paperwork matches the shipments.
• Assist with general shipping functions with Fed-Ex, UPS and common carrier.
• Load/Unload items with forklift.
• Provide accurate stock count in a timely manner.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

• 1 year of general shipping experience preferred.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and good with numbers.
• Must have computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
• Must be able to drive a forklift.
• General knowledge of UPS & Fed-Ex shipping software a plus.
