We have Furst-to-Hire opportunity for an Iron Worker Assembler working at a local manufacturing facility. In this role you will be responsible for assembling Iron Worker machines and related products. Previous experience is preferred, but our client is willing to train a qualified individual with strong mechanical aptitude. Some electrical background is preferred. Previous or current trade school training is helpful.
Hours: 6am to 4:30pm Pay: $20-$21/hour
Iron Worker Assembly Responsibilities:
Build products using photos, blueprints, engineering sketches and verbal instructions
Utilize hand tools, power tools and air tools
Operate overhead cranes and proper rigging or lifting devices
Operate a forklift
Maintain a clean work area - good housekeeping
Iron Worker Assembly Requirements:
Some basic welding experience
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work under limited supervision
Crane operator experience
