Sr. Analyst SAP WMS

Senior Analyst, Warehouse Management Systems (Blue Yonder)

Location: Chicago, IL — hybrid, three days onsite per week
Employment Type: W-2 contract-to-hire, with anticipated conversion after approximately six months
Travel: Up to 25% to warehouse locations

Lactalis is seeking a Senior Analyst to support and enhance its Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System and integrations with SAP ECC. You’ll work closely with business users, functional analysts, integration teams, and external partners to keep warehouse operations running smoothly while supporting implementations, upgrades, and system improvements.

This role combines hands-on technical problem-solving with an understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and business teams.

What You’ll Do

• Support Blue Yonder WMS solution design, configuration, enhancements, testing, deployment, and production operations.

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Develop, support, and troubleshoot interfaces, reports, data extracts, workflows, and other technical components.

• Support integrations between Blue Yonder WMS, SAP ECC, GoAnywhere middleware, EDI, APIs, and transportation, manufacturing, and third-party logistics applications.

• Investigate interface failures, application errors, data mapping issues, transaction defects, and performance problems; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Test and troubleshoot APIs supporting inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.

• Participate in configuration reviews, technical design discussions, unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and deployment readiness.

• Maintain technical documentation, interface mappings, test results, cutover plans, and production support resources.

• Contribute to WMS implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and legacy system replacements.

• Provide post-go-live support and collaborate across teams to resolve operational issues.

What You’ll Bring

• Three or more years of hands-on technical experience with Blue Yonder WMS.

• Experience integrating Blue Yonder WMS with SAP ECC, including application and configuration knowledge.

• Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.

• Knowledge of integration points across inventory management, procurement, sales/distribution, transportation, and manufacturing.

• Experience using and testing APIs and working with native SaaS WMS solutions.

• Ability to translate business needs into system specifications, configure and test processes, and troubleshoot technical issues.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.

• Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food industry experience.

• Blue Yonder WMS technical accreditation or certification.

• Experience with SAP WM, Infolog, or other relevant supply chain systems.

• Experience supporting global implementations.

Work Environment

This position follows a hybrid schedule in Chicago and requires travel to warehouse locations. Additional hours may be needed during implementations, deployments, and other critical project periods.
