Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Reliability Engineer to join their manufacturing operation in Somersby. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in reliability, maintenance and manufacturing within a dynamic industrial environment.

Working alongside experienced engineering and maintenance professionals, you'll develop practical skills while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability projects across a busy manufacturing site.

About the Role
Reporting to the Reliability team, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting reliability and maintenance improvement initiatives
• Assisting with equipment performance and reliability investigations
• Collecting, analysing and interpreting maintenance and equipment data
• Supporting preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Assisting with engineering and continuous improvement projects
• Maintaining engineering and maintenance documentation
• Supporting SAP and maintenance management systems
• Collaborating with Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams
• Providing general engineering support across the site

About You To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline, or currently nearing completion
• Previous engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial experience, gained through employment, internships or placements
• A genuine interest in reliability, maintenance and manufacturing operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A practical, hands-on approach
• The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Experience with SAP or maintenance management systems will be highly regarded but is not essential.

• Full-time hours, minimum 38 hours per week
• Monday to Friday roster
• Preferred day shift hours of 6:00am to 2:00pm with flexibility
