BLU Healthcare is currently seeking experienced and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing casual workforce for night shifts across Melbourne hospitals.

About the Role
As a Casual PCA with BLU Healthcare, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to patients throughout their hospital stay. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, supporting patients with their daily care needs while maintaining their comfort, dignity, and safety.
Night shifts may include:
- Supporting patients with personal care and daily living activities
- Assisting with mobility and repositioning
- Providing overnight comfort and support
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient wellbeing to nursing staff
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Working collaboratively with nurses and the broader healthcare team

About You
- Recent experience working as a PCA in a hospital environment
- Confident providing personal care and mobility support
- Strong understanding of manual handling and patient safety
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate
- Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient-focused and committed to providing high-quality care
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Health Services Assistance, or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months recent PCA experience
- Current National Police Check
- Current Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC), where applicable
- Up-to-date vaccination evidence and serology in line with hospital requirements
- Current BLS certification, where required by the hospital
- Full Australian working rights
