Custodian- 1st shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Travel: Must have reliable transportation and be able to trave
Pay: 18.00 per hour

Position Summary

Seeking a dependable, hardworking Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout our facility, offices, restrooms, common areas, and surrounding property.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, common areas, and assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Clean windows, doors, fixtures, countertops, and other surfaces.
• Respond to spills and other cleaning needs promptly.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain an organized janitorial supply area.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with cleaning before and after events or activities.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, leaks, or damage to management.
• Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and assist with other facility duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Some previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to safely operate basic cleaning equipment.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented and dependable.

Work Environment

This position may require working in both indoor and outdoor areas and may involve wet floors, varying temperatures, cleaning chemicals, noise, and other conditions associated with a production and facility-maintenance environment.
