Role Overview

• Position Type: Full Time Permanent
• Start Date: Term 1, 2027
• Location: Melbourne's South-East
• Subject Areas / Year Levels: Mathematics, Years 7–12 incl. VCE
• Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated Mathematics instruction across Years 7–12, with a particular focus on VCE Units 1–4 including Mathematical Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics.
• Design and implement assessment tasks aligned to VCAA requirements, providing students with timely, constructive feedback that drives improvement.
• Contribute to the development and review of curriculum programs, scope and sequence documents, and faculty planning initiatives.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students through an active pastoral role, upholding the College's commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive practice.
• Participate as a collaborative and reflective member of the Mathematics faculty, engaging in professional learning communities, data analysis, and whole-school improvement priorities.

About You
You're a qualified teacher:

• Hold or are eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
• Hold or are eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
• Have an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
• Bring creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
• Maintain high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
